Thanks to Oasis, ’90s Britpop fashion is about to be everywhere

The cherry on top of all the recent 90s trend revivals, Oasis’ return feels almost too perfect to be true. After an infamous 15-year feud, the Gallagher brothers, best known for giant 90s hits like Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger (aka soundtrack of all our favourite tween shows) have announced a reunion tour of the UK next year, sending fans into a ticket-grabbing frenzy. The band will be doing 14 shows in summer 2025, including four at London’s Wembley Stadium and four at Manchester’s Heaton Park.

Struggling to nab Oasis tickets? These die-hard Swifties will show you how

If there’s one thing Swifties know how to do, it’s a good, old-fashioned Ticketmaster battle.

The moment the news broke, fans have already begun plotting their outfits, sparking a flood of searches for so-called ‘Oasis fashion’. According to eBay’s pre-loved style director, Amy Bannerman: “The Gallagher brothers had such an iconic style that resonates with current fashion trends and has never gone out of style – Adidas trainers, 90s T-shirts and classic mod pieces. We’re noticing a huge spike on eBay for all things 90s – whether it’s original and rare band merch or items synonymous with their style.”

Oasis frontmen Liam and Noel Gallagher have always been the reference of Britpop style, which consists of bucket hats, parkas, and polo shirts and were regularly seen sporting Stone Island, Levi’s and Adidas. eBay has seen a surge of searches for parkas (400 percent), 90s clothing (200 percent) and exact searches for Liam’s beloved Adidas Spezial trainers.

While this style has been dubbed ‘bloke-core’, this doesn’t mean men have the monopoly on this utilitarian look. Gigi Hadid has long been a fan of the bucket-hat-and-knit-vest combo, and Kate Moss has been showing us the right way to wear band tees for decades. There’s something quite comforting about the return of this casual-cool, hardy style inspired by the North, especially as we head into damp Autumn days, or rather the “cold and wind and rain” (I know, I’m sorry).

Just watch, these 90s staples for nailing Oasis fashion are about to sell out in no time. So take what you need, and be on your way…
